Some more cute decoration ideas and Christmas Goodies

Ok, I just can't stop! I think all these ideas are so cute! And I'm so excited to finally have a reason to decorate! ...We are having a Halloween party for my church at the end of the month and people can sign up to decorate a room and hand out candy, I wasn't sure at first, but then wheels started turning and I've got it all planned out. I'm so excited! Anyway until I've got those done, here are some cute ideas that you can try out... (click on the pictures for the directions/details or recipes)

More Pumpkins


(the top left picture is of bean bag pumpkins. Notice the cute halloween bean bags... and then you toss them through the "0"s. How fun is that?! I also love the painted pumpkins! Click on the black painted vase picture and you can find more REALLY cute and fun ideas. The BOO pumpkins are done with an apple corer. What a genius idea. The flower pumpkins also use an apple corer for the center, and a clay scraper to carve the petals.)



Christmas

Christmas is also on it's way... and when it comes to baking treats, you know you don't want to try something you haven't tested yet. So here are a few yummy and super cute treats to bake up in your kitchen now so you can have them perfected for the family and friends! :)

Going back to cupcakes...

If you need a little more simpler way to scare up your cupcakes for Halloween...Why not try these cute little cupcake wrappers. Ok, I really DON'T want to be a sales person, but I just thought these were super cute! You could even craft up your own if you wanted to put a little time into it I'm sure.

Pumpkin Time

It's October and that means it's Pumpkin Carving Time! :)

Sadly I picked probably the thickest pumpkin there was, so unfortunately it didn't glow through as well as I would have liked, but it was still fun to try something new (for me anyway.)

Happy Holidays here we come!!!

I LOVE the holidays! and I Love fall and am so excited for the next couple of months. I signed up for a BHG holiday decorating email. And so far it's great! The ideas are getting me so excited! and now that I have little boys, it makes the holidays all the more fun! :)

Happy Homecoming!

Well, the baby has arrived (3 weeks early) but he is healthy and strong and super handsome! We are glad he's here and I am so excited for this new adventure! For anyone who checks this blog ever, I just want to let you know I will be taking a leave for a while... and I'm not sure when I'll be back. Until then, happy blogging! :)
